Receiver in the Canal (RIC) hearing aids are a fantastic solution to match your hearing loss and personal lifestyle. Most RIC hearing instruments have bluetooth built in, which can be paired with your smartphone to stream audio and act as a remote control for the hearing devices.
Behind the Ear (BTE) hearing aids utilize a hollow tube and earmold to deliver sound to the ear. BTE hearing devices have similar features to RIC hearing aids, but generally are larger and more powerful.
Rechargeable battery technology in hearing instruments has improved dramatically in the last few years. Rechargeable hearing aids are great for patients with dexterity issues or those who want to eliminate waste.
In the Ear (ITE) hearing aids are custom fit instruments that provide a wide variety of features. ITE aids are also ideal for patients who are wearing glasses and using supplemental oxygen.
In the Canal (ITC) hearing devices range from being "invisible" deeply embedded products, to small custom fit solutions. ITC aids are great for patients who want minimally noticeable hearing aids, and fit a variety of hearing losses.
Invisible in the Canal (IIC) hearing aids fit deep in the canal and are exceptionally disceet.
