Dr. Asay was born in Powell, Wyoming and is delighted to be able to come back home to practice hearing healthcare in the Big Horn Basin. After graduating from Powell High School, Levi attended Montana State University and earned a B.A. in Media and Theatre arts. He then obtained a B.S. in Audiology and Speech Language Sciences at the University of Northern Colorado. Finally, he achieved his Doctorate of Audiology (AuD) from the University of Utah. While attending graduate school, Levi also earned a Board Certification as a Hearing Instrument Specialist (BC-HIS).
Dr. Asay enjoys Wyoming’s great outdoors and being back home to serve the communities he grew up in. He loves fishing with his golden retriever, Sunny, as well as being in the mountains with his wife Brittany, and their Shetland sheepdog, Apollo.
Dr. Rowley has been an Educational Audiologist for 24 years providing services for hearing-impaired students in grades K-12 in Natrona County. He received his M.A. degree in Audiology from the University of Wyoming and his doctorate degree from Salus University. He also has an M.A. in Speech Pathology from Western Michigan University.
Dr. Rowley's professional interests include identifying and treating auditory processing disorders (APD), fitting and maintaining assistive listening devices and classroom amplification systems.
He enjoys spending time with his family, traveling with his wife Cammy, coaching high school sports, and going on long jeep rides.
Brittany grew up in Montrose, Colorado. She attended the University of Northern Colorado to earn her undergraduate degree in Audiology and Speech-Language Sciences. She then attended Idaho State University to earn her master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology. Brittany’s professional interests include services for adults and in the areas of dysphagia (disordered swallowing), dementia care, as well as services for children including early identification and intervention of speech and language disorders of children who are deaf or hard-of-hearing, and developmental delay of language and speech skills.
Brittany’s personal interests surround her family, which include her husband, Levi, two dogs, Apollo and Sunny, and cat, Tekoa. Brittany enjoys hiking, backpacking, canoeing, and fishing. She also enjoys baking, reading, yoga, and visiting her neice in Colorado.
Ben Koperski practiced as an Audiologist in Cody for over 35 years. Prior to that, he was part of the University of Wyoming's Audiology faculty for 11 years. Recently, he handed over the reins of the business to Dr. Asay, but is still involved as a mentor and consultant.
Currently, Ben is enjoying the retired life with his wife Mary, and spending more of their time with family.
Sherry grew up in Carthage Illinois, and attended Graham Hospital School of Nursing in Canton, Illinois. She graduated in 1983 obtaining a diploma in nursing. In 1986 she moved to Cody and worked at West Park Hospital as a RN until 2014. She then attended North West College for an Associate’s of Applied Science in Business, graduating in 2018. She started working at Big Horn Basin Hearing and Speech in July 2019 and has enjoyed utilizing her medical experience to help our patients with their hearing aids and speech pathology needs.
Sherry met her husband here in Cody and they have 4 children and 6 grandchildren. She enjoys gardening, quilting, reading, and attending Bible Study Fellowship.
We're very excited to add Dr. Tom Rowley Au.D./SLP to our team at Big Horn Basin Hearing and Speech. Dr. Rowley has been an educational audiologist in Wyoming for many years and has extensive experience testing Auditory Processing Disorder (APD or CAPD). We look forward to providing APD testing and therapy to help improve central auditory processing for our patients.
